Within the frames of the reception organized in the City Hall for the people having many-year work experience in various spheres, on the event of the City Day, for special services for the capital, many-year effective activity for the well-being of the capital and for contribution to different spheres, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan awarded Yerevan Mayor’s Gold Medal to the artistic director of the State Chamber Choir “Hover”, the RA Distinguished Art Figure Sona Hovhannisyan; to the reciter, RA Distinguished Artist Silva Yuzbashyan; to the TV presenter, RA Distinguished Culture Figure Avet Barseghyan; to the founder, artistic director of State Youth Orchestra of Armenia, conductor Sergey Smbatyan; to the head of resuscitation and intensive therapy of “Surb Astvatsamayr” MC Anna Chobanyan; to the TV presenter and actress Nazeni Hovhannisyan; to the producer of “Sharm Holding” Ruben Toroyan; to the commander of the 1st officers battalion of “Road Police” service of the RA Police Arman Hakobyan; to the commander of the 1st unit,1st company,1st battalion of Patrol regiment of Yerevan department of the RA Police, police senior warrant officer Ashot Sargsyan; to the hеad of Patrol Control of “Nairit” CJSC, colonel Ararat Avagyan; to the member of the Union of Volunteers of Erkrapah, military unit nurse, senior warrant officer Anahit Vardanyan; to the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Sudies of YSU, professor Gurgen Malikyan and to the director of the State Theater of Musical Comedy after H.Paronayn Kamo Shahbazyan.

On the event of the 2799th anniversary of Yerevan, for the achievements in the sphere health and devoted activity the deputy director for obstetrics of “Erebuni” MC candidate of medical sciences, docent Andranik Poghosyan was awarded with the memory medal “Honorary physician of Yerevan”.
On the same event, for significant contribution to cultural life of Yerevan the memory medal “Honorary culture figure of Yerevan” was awarded to the art director of the children’s ensemble “Arevik” of the Public radio of Armenia Vahe Hayrapetyan and the choirmaster, the head of the department of modern art of the RA Ministry of Culture Armine Ghazaryan.
On the event of 2799th anniversary, for the contribution to the sphere of sport the memory medal “Honorary sport figure of Yerevan” was awarded to the chief coach of the national team of Greco-Roman wrestling of Armenia, the RA Distinguished Coach Armen babalaryan and the director of non-commercial organization “Children and youth sport complex Malatia Sebastia:, RA Distinguished Coach Harutyun Vardumyan.
Expressing gratitude for the attention and appreciation, the persons awarded with Mayor’s Gold Medals noted that they will go on their activity with honour contributing to the development of the City of love-Yerevan.
