Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan met with the residents of the Kond district to discuss the long-standing issue of property rights for land plots adjacent to their houses, as well as auxiliary residential buildings in the courtyards.
Mayor Avinyan emphasized that Yerevan Municipality aims to restore the property rights for areas long held by Kond residents. It is crucial to prevent potential legal disputes and violations of these rights by developers or new property owners, in case of any future development projects. 
Kond residents have struggled with property right issues for decades.
Approximately 900 property units have been inventoried in the district, and more than 670 applications have already been submitted to the Municipality to restore or legalize ownership rights. All submitted documents are currently under review, as the process is ongoing.
