During the reception organized in the City Hall on the event of 2797th anniversary of Yerevan for the people contributed their many-year experience in various sphere to the development of Yerevan, Mayor Taron Margaryan awarded the title of “Honorary doctor of Yerevan” to the Academician of European Neuro-Surgical Academy, MD, Professor Suren Zohrabyan for his significant contribution and devoted work in the sphere of medicine.
For the significant contribution and efficient activity the director of the Sport and Concert Complex after Karen Demirchyan, the RA Honored Culture Worker Vazgen Asatryan was awarded with the title “Honorary Culture Figure of Yerevan”.
For the great contribution and many years of professional activity the title “Honorary Sport Worker” was awarded to the deputy director of “Yerevan youth and children’s sport school of professional handball and other sports”, honored coach Gegham Petrosyan.
The head of the department of social support of the RA Ministry of Social Affairs Astkhik Minasyan was awarded with the title “Honorary Social Worker of Yerevan” for the success and devoted state activity.
For the contribution to the sphere of architecture and urban development the title “Honorary Builder of Yerevan” was awarded to the chairman of the board of CJSC “Kamurjshin” Vlad Asatryan. For the efficient pedagogic activity and many years of devoted work the title “Honorary Teacher of Yerevan” was awarded to the experienced teacher, pensioner Edward Minasyan. The deputy director of the Rescue Service of the RA MTA ES, Major-General Vrezh Gabrielyan and the head of the department of civil defence and operative planning of the Rescue Service of the RA MTAES, lieutenant-colonel Gagik Harutyunyan were awarded with the title “Honorary Rescuer of Yerevan”.
Expressing gratitude for the appreciation the awarded persons assured that they will go on contributing to the development of Yerevan.
