This year the United Nations Organization marks its 70th anniversary. Within the frames of the jubilee events organized in numerous countries-members of the UNO an action was organized in Yerevan as well. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the solemn event. In his greeting speech the Resident Coordinator of the UNO in Armenia and the Resident Representative of the UNDP Bradley Buzetto expressed gratitude for teamwork outlining that the 70th jubilee of the UNO is an opportunity to cast a glance back to the history of the organization and appreciate its enduring achievements.
