The delegation of Tabriz city of the Islamic Rebublic of Iran headed by the Deputy Mayor of Tabriz Etemad Emadi arrived in Yerevan to take part in ''Erebuni-Yerevan 2797'' celebration met with Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan. Expressing gratitude for accepting the invitation to mark Yerevan's day together Taron Margaryan briefly presented Yerevan, the events dedicated to the festival and the social programs implemented within the celebration program stressing that everything had been done to make the festival unforgettable both for the residents and for thousands of guests.
''Every year thought this holiday we try to represent our 2797-year-old capital in a new way. I am sure that the wonderful mood always reigning in our warm and kind city on this day will be passed to you. I wish you to enjoy the warmeness and hospitality of 2797-year-old Yerevan», said the Mayor.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome the Deputy Mayor of Tabriz Etemad Emadi congratulated the Mayor of Yerevan and the townspeople on the capital's birthday. He also noted that the festive atmosphere reigning throughout Yerevan shows the special attitude to this festival, that everything has been done to make residents and guests of the capital enjoy the celebration.
''Mister Mayor, it's a pleasure for us to be in Yerevan and to mark with you the day of the city which has rich traditions and 2797-year history. I should confess that I am impressed with the festive look and atmosphere of Yerevan and I am sure that we will return full of unforgettable impressions'', said Etemad Emadi.
