At the behest of Yerevan Mayor to take part in «Erebuni-Yerevan 2797» celebration Stavropol Mayor Gergi Kolyagin arrived in Yerevan and met with Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan. Greeting his colleague Taron Margaryan thanked his for accepting the invitation and expressed confidence that the warmth of the celebation held under the motto «My warm and kind city» will go over all the guests of the capital and this visit of the colleague will become another stimulus to strengthen and expand the existing ties between the two cities.

Such events are certainly a good platform for developing bilateral relationship. The partnership between Yerevan and Stavropol is certainly successful and I am sure it will become more inclusive and practical in the future», said the Mayor.

Stavropol Mayor Georgi Kolyagin in his turn congratulated Yerevan Mayor on the anniversary of the capital and stressed that it is really a good opportunity to strengthen the bilateral cooperation.
«We consider Yerevan's day to our holiday too. It's one of the days which unites not only the residents of the city but also partner cities which consider Yerevan their reliable partner. I am sure that this year the celebration will again stand out with its programs and events and we will enjoy the warmness of Yerevan. We have a big potential for cooperation expansion in various spheres and I am sure we will be able to realize all the plans we have outlines in our treaty», said Georgi Kolyagin.
