Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan welcomed the delegation headed by Deputy Governor of Saint Petersburg Anna Mityanina arrived in Yerevan to participate in the celebration of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799”. The head of the official representation of Yerevan Municipality in Saint Petersburg Armenak Karapetyan was present at the meeting too.

Greeting the guests Yerevan Mayor expressed gratitude for accepting the invitation and noted that the first visit of the head of the delegation to Yerevan coincided with the City Day which will become an excellent opportunity for her to open the peculiar charm and warmth of Yerevan and to get acquainted with the hospitable townspeople.
“It is certainly important when business ties are at the high level and dynamically developing. However I am certain that it is more important when business relations turn into faithful friendship which exists between Yerevan and Saint Petersburg. I am very glad that today you are celebrating the day of our beloved city together with us. I am sure you will like our capital as “Erebuni-Yerevan” is the holiday which reveals the charm, warmth of our city and hospitality of our townspeople”, said Taron Margaryan.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and conveying the greetings and congratulations of Governor Georgi Poltavchenko on the event of the City Day, the Deputy Governor of Saint Petersburg Ana Mityanina noted that she had already had the opportunity to see and feel the warmth and festive atmosphere of the city of love-Yerevan.
“Mister Mayor, I am sure that you know well how important the cooperation with Yerevan is important for Saint Petersburg. You also know that the delegation of Saint Petersburg always gladly take part in the events dedicated to the City Day. Your city really has special energetic which will make me visit your city again”, said Anna Mityanina.
Expressing gratitude for warm regards Mayor Taron Margaryan asked to convey the Governor of Saint Petersburg, his good friend Georgi Poltavchenko his warm greetings and taking the opportunity invited the members of Saint Petersburg delegation to visit Yerevan next year and take part in the events dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation.
