Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the Minister of Government of Moscow,the head of Department of Labour and Social Protection Vladimir Petrosyan who arrived in Yerevan to take part in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” celebration. The head of Yerevan Municipality representation in Moscow Makar Nahapetyan took part in the meeting too.
Greeting the guest the Mayor Expressed gratitude for the visit and highly appreciating the friendly and partner relationship between the two capitals stressed the importance of expansion and strengthening of bilateral ties.
“Expansion of cooperation programs with Moscow is one of our important directions and I am sure that the formed business environment will go on developing providing continuity of joint programs. I am sure that joining our efforts we will give a new impulse to strengthening and expansion of cooperation between two capitals”, said Taron Margaryan.
Having thanked for the invitation and warm welcome the minister of Moscow Government, head of Department of Labour and Social Protection Vladimir Petrosyan conveyed Taron Margaryan the warm greetings and congratulations of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyannin on the City Day and stressing that Moscow highly appreciates the cooperation with Yerevan assured that the activities aimed at interaction expansion will be continued.
Mayor Taron Margaryan in his turn conveyed his greetings to Sergey Sobyanin inviting him to visit Yerevan next year and participate in the events dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation.
During the meeting the parties also discussed the issues related to holding Yerevan Days in Moscow.
