The Deputy Mayor of Kazan Yevgenia Lodvigova, who is in Yerevan with the aim of participation in ‘Erebuni-Yerevan” celebration, met with Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan. Attaching particular importance to the willingness of the partner cities to take part in the celebration the Mayor noted that the celebration of Yerevan’s Day has become one of the most favourite holidays for the guests of the capital.

“It’s both pleasant and obliging that the birthday of Yerevan is an expected holiday not only for the residents but also for the guests of the capital. And the number of the official delegations and tourists is increasing year by year which means that the warmth of our city really attracts people. And we do our best to present our centuries-old history and rich culture to our guests. I am sure that the warmth of Yerevan will be felt by you and you will leave our city full of wonderful impressions”, said the Mayor.
Expressing gratitude for the invitation and warm reception the Deputy Mayor of Kazan Yevgenia Lodvigova congratulated Taron Margaryan on Yerevan’s Day and shared her impressions of the festive decoration of the capital saying that she had already felt the warmth and festive atmosphere of Yerevan.
“Mister Mayor, it’s very pleasant to be present at the anniversary celebration of the city which has the history of about three thousand years. There are few capital in the world which can be proud of such a respectable age and with such a modern look and vitality. As I deeply believe, this fact obliges to mark this day with great solemnity and pride”, said Yevgenia Lodvigova.
The issues related to bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting too.
