Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to Armenia H.E. Ms. Lynn Tracy who is completing her diplomatic mission in our country.
Touching upon the collaboration formed between Yerevan Municipality and the US Embassy, the Mayor expressed gratitude for effectively implemented joint programs. In particular, Mayor Sargsyan attached importance to the structural reforms in the sphere of social security outlining that due to the support of the embassy and experts, Yerevan now has an advanced sphere which can serve as a model for other communities of Armenia.
Ambassador Lynn Tracy expressed confidence that the cooperation between the two establishments will be continued, and the embassy will go on showing support to the city in the implementation of various projects in different spheres. The Ambassador also attached importance to fulfillment of long-life projects as only this way it is possible to find solutions to structural problems.
At the end of the meeting Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan wished success to Lynn Tracy in her further mission.
