Mayor Hayk Marutyan welcomes the Minister of Moscow Government, the head of Labour and Social Protection Department Vladimir Petrosyan
Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan met with the Minister of Moscow Government, head of the Department of Labour and Social Protection Vladimir Petrosyan who is in Yerevan to participate in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2800” celebration.
Greeting the guest Hayk Marutyan first of all thanked him for accepting the invitation and noted that the visit will certainly have positive influence on strengthening and expansion of the ties existing between the two capitals.
“The expansion of cooperation programs with Moscow is very important for us, and I think we must specify our cooperation and implement more concrete programs within the scope of the cooperation program signed for 2018-2021. Moscow is a reliable partner for Yerevan and we highly appreciate the efforts of Moscow Government aimed at cooperation expansion between the two capital cities”, said Hayk Marutyan and conveyed his gratitude to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin for the congratulation and best wishes on his being elected Yerevan Mayor.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome, the Minister of Moscow Government, the head of Labour and Social Protection Vladimir Petrosyan also congratulated Hayk Marutyan on taking the office of Yerevan Mayor and wished his lots of achievements in that responsible position. Vladimir Petrosyan outlined that Moscow highly appreciates the cooperation with Yerevan and assured that the activities aimed at the cooperation development will be continuative.
“Mister Mayor, I assure you that I will do my best to benefit expansion of cooperation circles between Yerevan and Moscow. Development of bilateral ties is very important for Moscow Government and I am sure joint approaches will be found within the scope of the cooperation to make urban economy management kore affective to solve the existing problems”, said Vladimir Petrosyan.
