Yerevan Preschool N143 Opened After Overhauling
Preschool N143 in Shengavit district has been overhauled and reopened within the frames of Yerevan Municipality program of building improvement.
The overhauling was performed from basement to roof, the building got full thermal insulation, proper ventilation system and energy saving lighting were installed.The number of rooms has increased due to renovation. Instead of formerly 220 kids the preschool can host 280 children. Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan, the head of Shengavit district Razmik Mkrtchyan, the head of General Education Department of Yerevan Municipality Margarit Khachatryan and head of Building and Improvement Department Khoren Grigoryan were present at the opening event.
Avinyan stressed that they follow European standards and provide most proper conditions for children’s care and education. Well-arrangement of courtyards is also involved in improvement programs.
This year, 22 overhauled preschools will be put into operation.
