On the event of the International Women’s Day the female employees of “Waste removal and sanitary cleaning of Yerevan” municipal company were invited to the event dedicated to the holiday. During the reception about 230 women were congratulated by Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan and handed thanksgiving diplomas.

“Love for homeland and capital city starts with keeping them clean. While handing the thanksgiving diplomas to our female employees and shaking hands with them I felt how callous their palms are. Such hands are the result of hard physical work and we must appreciate their efforts and never pollute the surroundings. I’d like to congratulate all women. They are the warmth of our families. Their warmth gives us energy and enthusiasm to carry on our work. We should cherish that warmth to get better achievements”, stressed the Mayor.
The administration of the municipal company responsible for cleanness in the city intended to encourage to women working in this field and organized an event for them.
Some changes are intended in the sphere to ensure new approaches in management and improvement of the working conditions.

According to the Mayor, they are going to install a new electronic system of management the activities of the trucks. Moreover, this year they are going to renovate the premises of the company and improve the conditions.
There are still problems with sanitary cleaning to solve which the number of people engaged in street cleaning up (about 300) will be increased by 200 employees.
