Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan had a video meeting with the UN delegation to the Republic of Armenia.

The parties discussed the programs being implemented within the frames of cooperation with the European Union as well as outlined the perspectives of further development.
Hayk Marutyan presented the process of implementation of “EU4Yerevan Solar Community” program, hazardous waste management, construction of drainage tunnel of Yerevan Underground, urban lighting, construction of kindergartens and some other programs.

Head of Unit, European Commission, Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (NEAR) Mr Vassilis Maragos in his turn noted that the EU is interested in cooperation expansion in digitalization of communal services and the development of urban “green” facilities.
The parties made an agreement to carry on the interaction related to certain initiatives.
