During the working meeting in the City Hall Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan first of all thanked all the persons in charge for the high level of organization and holding of the events dedicated to “Erebuni-Yerevan 2800” celebration.

Regarding the current activities, the Mayor was reported that the previous week everyday control over open-air trade and prevention of waste dumping in inappropriate places was going on. Considering the sanitary cleaning and waste removal work of ‘Sanitek” company unsatisfactory Hayk Marutyan mentioned that the mechanism of work organization of the company must be reconsidered and the control must be strengthened.
Regarding the violations fixed the previous week as a result of the control set over revelation and prevention of illegal constructions and land occupation corresponding administrative protocols have been drawn up. Mayor Hayk Marutyan instructed to strengthen the control and apply rigid administrative measures.
“We have a lot of work to do in this sphere and to get desirable result we expect the assistance of the police. People must know for sure that no illegal construction is possible, and if it is revealed it will be stopped immediately”, said the Mayor.
It was also reported that the process of renovation of public property, roofs and entrances of blocks of flats is going on in accordance with the schedule. Asphalting activities provided for this year are coming the end.
Mayor Hayk Marutyan instructed to keep the quality and the schedule of implementation under permanent control.
It was also reported that the previous week 326 phone calls were received via “Hot lines” of the central staff of Yerevan Municipality. At the beginning of the week 241 of them got solutions or complete answers, the rest 85 ones are being studied. During the reported period 92 phone calls were received via “Hot lines” functioning in the administrative districts. 54 of them got solutions, the rest 38 ones are being processed. Mayor Hayk Marutyan informed that he will watch the process of responding the issues raised by the residents in person.
“I will watch these activities and the received information in person so as to see how we respond to the problems raised by the residents. “Hot line” service is the pulse of our city which we must watch and learn about the problems our city has”, said Hayk Marutyan.
At the end of the meeting Mayor Hayk Marutyan referring to winter preparations assigned the corresponding departments of the staff and the heads of administrative districts to carry out activities in municipal schools, preschools, sport, cultural and medical establishments to provide proper work of all life support systems.
