Educational ecosystem for schoolchildren: The National Polytechnic University of Armenia recently presented a new project to Mayor Tigran Avinyan, an initiative to establish a Yerevan Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) Center. University Rector Gor Vardanyan noted that the STEAM center will bring together technology, science, art, and entrepreneurship to help students become the innovators of the future.
The center will feature laboratories for natural sciences, software and hardware engineering, arts and crafts, as well as digital learning rooms. Gor Vardanyan also pointed out that, beyond its educational impact, the project could help position Yerevan as a leading hub for high-tech development and human potential.
The Mayor of Yerevan highlighted the importance of such projects, noting that in today’s world, information technologies play a key role, especially for schoolchildren, from an educational, social, and cultural perspective. Tigran Avinyan also emphasized that the Yerevan Municipality is always ready to support initiatives that contribute to both the educational and personal development of young people.
