During the working meeting in the City Hall which was chaired by Mayor Taron Margaryan it was reported that within the previous week 9 administrative protocols had been drawn up for wastes dumping in inappropriate places. It instructed to carry on everyday control jointly with Yerevan Police and to take corresponding measures particularly to prevent building wastes dumping in inappropriate areas.

“I am grateful to all our citizens and organizations taking active part in citywide clean-up actions. However this way we can’t solve the problem of cleanness in the city. We must keep a watchful eye over keeping the city clean and to apply all the strictest measures determined by the law to get the desirable result. Today we face the problem of building wastes removal. Everybody knows that in Silikyan quarter there is a corresponding dump for building wastes. Therefore set a rigid control in all the areas where building wastes are accumulated. In Yerevan we must form the culture when people don’t throw the garbage in inappropriate areas realizing that they will be punished in accordance with law. And it relates not only to building wastes but to garbage in general”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
