A discussion meeting with representatives of organizations and individuals involved in animal care and protection was held in Yerevan City Hall. Head of Yerevan Municipality Nature Protection Department Sirarpi Haykazyan and Director of the Animal Care Center Harutyun Arakelyan took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, a number of issues of the sphere were discussed and possible solutions were outlined.
Ways to expand cooperation that will help find homes for stray animals, to increase responsible attitudes towards animals and prevent dangerous diseases were considered.
Those present made suggestions for changes to the functions of the organization, which will be discussed in the near future.
During the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit to the Animal Care Center, where animal lovers will have the opportunity to care for animals and participate in winter preparation activities.
