To work out Yerevan’s Action Plan for “Open Government Partnership Local” a meeting-discussion was held in the City Hall. Yerevan Mayor’s Advisor Mery Margaryan, the head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Development and Investment Programs Armen Harutyunyan, the coordination group of Yerevan’s “Open Government Partnership Local”, the coordinator of the “Open Government Partnership-Armenia” initiative of the RA Prime Minister’s Office Lilia Afrikyan, as well as the representatives of the civil society submitted proposals after the announcement placed in the period from July 26 to August 12, and other active citizens took part in the meeting.
An active discussion developed regarding instillation of the social security system of public servants, increasing the volumes of information placed on the official website, transparency increase, removal, sorting and recycling of wastes in the city.
It should be noted that the deadline for submitting proposals has been prolonged will September 15, 2022. Afterwards it is planned to summarize all presented proposals in two stages.
Yerevan’s “OGP Local” Action Plan will involve the proposals that correspond to the priorities outlined in the announcement and to the OGP principles (i.e. transparency, accountability, participation, innovation).
