VIII Pan-Armenian Summer Games start in Gyumri: Yerevan Delegation Participates with 425 Contestants
For 25 years, the Pan-Armenian Summer Games have been bringing together the youth of Armenia and Diaspora. This year, the big sport event brought to homeland more than 7000 contestants from 181 cities of 41 countries. The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan, the NA President Alen Simonyan, the Chief of Staff of the RA Prime Minister, President of the organizational committee of the VIII Pan-Armenian Summer Games Arayik Harutyunyan, the First Deputy Mayor, acting Yerevan Mayor Levon Hovhannisyan, the Deputy Minister of ESCS Karen Giloyan, members of executive bodies and other officials were present at the opening ceremony.
Yerevan is represented at this important event by 425 contestants in all sport disciplines.
107 complect of medals will be competed for 19 sport events involved in the program.
