Yerevan Mayor handed the prizes to the winner couple won in the Figure Skating Open Championship of Armenia
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan together with his wife and sons was present at the awards of the Figure Skating Open Championship of Armenia. The RA Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Gabriel Ghazaryan was present at the ceremony too. 45 figure skaters from different countries took part in the open championship held for the first time at Irina Rodnina figure skating sport school by the RA Federation of Figure Skating with the assistance of Yerevan Municipality.
During the solemn ceremony the couple won in the open championship was handed the prizes by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.
For permanent support and willingness Yerevan Mayor and the RA Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs were given thanksgiving diplomas on behalf of the RA Federation of Figure Skating.
Stressing the significance of the facilities and equipment corresponding to international standards which are provided in Irina Rodnina figure skating sport school, the organizers expressed confidence that many other international competitions would be organized in this sport center.
After the award Taron Margaryan together with many other spectators watched the show performances of the participants of the open championship and pupils of the school.
