Cooperation between the Île-de-France region of France and the city of Yerevan is deepening, this time in three major areas: urban development, transport systems, and waste management. To ensure these joint projects run smoothly, both partners are organizing specialized training programs.
The educational part of the initiative involves the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. It is currently conducting GIS training and support programs for the staff of various departments of the Yerevan Municipality. These trainings will allow urban development specialists to create accurate three-dimensional models and make data-driven decisions.
The project is carried out with the support of the Île-de-France Region. Their contribution to integrating modern technologies into Yerevan’s municipal governance will significantly boost its efficiency.
