Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the delegation of the young people of the innovative education youth forum «Future». The leader of Yerevan Municipality representation in Moscow Makar Nahapetyan was also present at the meeting. Attaching particular importance to active participation of the young in the programs being implemented in various spheres of urban economy, Mayor Taron Margaryan stressed that Yerevan Municipality is always ready to hear out and discuss the constructive suggestions made by the young and aimed at Yerevan development.
"The issues related to the young have always been at the focus of attention of Yerevan Municipality and working with young people has been considered to be of priority. The Youth Council adjunct to Yerevan Mayor has been created with this aim and today it has its important participation in all the projects being implemented in the capital. Today hundreds of young people work in the City Hall and they have their contribution to the development of the city. We are certainly ready to discuss with you the possible directions of cooperation and to develop effective interaction", stressed the Mayor. Taron Margaryan also expressed confidence that the high mood reigning in the capital these days will go over the young people visited our capital and they will become direct participants of the celebration.
Expressing gratitude for warm reception and congratulating Mayor Taron Margaryan on Yerevan's Day the members of the delegation in their turn stressed that they would love to take part in the celebration. Stressing the importance of Yerevan Mayor's attitude in the issue of using the youth's potential the latter expressed their willingness to participate in various program being implemented in the capital. During the meeting the young people also submitted their suggestions referring to the development of various spheres of urban economy. Welcoming their interest Taron Margaryan offered the make their cooperation with the Youth Council adjunct to the Mayor of Yerevan tighter and to submit those suggestions in the form of concrete projects.
"Youth is a powerful moving force which is the hope and guarantee of the future, and withi our powers we will always support the young who can have their contribution to Yerevan's development", said the Mayor.
