Over the past three years, approximately 55 hectares of green space have been established in Yerevan, 44 hectares of which are urban forests.
These projects were implemented in areas equipped with irrigation systems.
A total of 95 kilometers of irrigation networks were constructed or renovated, leading to an increase in the tree survival rate, which has now reached 94%.
A new urban forest was created on 15 hectares of land on the slopes adjacent to the "Yerablur" military pantheon. This area had been neglected for decades and was previously covered with construction waste. A new 7-kilometer irrigation network was also installed.
