A Major New Project Launched in Yerevan: The “EU TUMO Engineering and Applied Sciences Complex”
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, together with Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the “EU TUMO Engineering and Applied Sciences Complex” (EUCC). The complex will be constructed on an 18,000-square-metre site adjacent to the existing TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, near the Hrazdan Gorge in Yerevan.
The project has been designed by the internationally renowned architectural firm MVRDV, which has envisioned a contemporary, open, and future-oriented environment.
The complex is intended to serve as a next-generation educational and technological hub in Armenia, providing an integrated platform that brings together academic expertise, applied engineering, and private-sector engagement.
This initiative marks a substantial investment in the advancement of education, science, and innovation, and is expected to foster the development of highly competitive professionals. Yerevan continues to strengthen its position as a dynamic center for knowledge, creativity, and technological innovation.
