Sambo World Cup kicked off in Yerevan
Sambo World Cup is held in Yerevan on April 4-5. First Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan took part in the opening ceremony.
270 sportsmen from 15 countries participate in this championship.
In 2022 and 2023 Yerevan hosted junior sambo tournaments. The Armenian Sambo Federation organized the championships at a high level and was awarded with the honour of the permanent host country of sambo championship.
The First Deputy Mayor handed the medals to the winners, and wished luck to the participants. On the first day of the championship Armenian athletes achieved 9 medals.
