Paris Heruni Street Opened in Yerevan
From now on, Davtashen 2nd street is officially named after the astrophysicist, academician Paris Heruni.
In April of this year, Yerevan Council of Elders approved of the initiative submitted by the council members Arthur Ispiryan and Hayk Mirzoyan to name the street after the eminent scientist.
Representatives of the spheres of science, education and culture were present at the opening ceremony.
In their speeches those present stressed the significant contribution of the scientist to the development of science.
