Albert Azaryan’s bust installed in Yerevan
The bust of the triple Olympic champion, world-famous gymnast Albert Azaryan has been opened in the courtyard of the Youth and Children Sport School of Gymnastics of Olympic Reserve after Albert Azaryan. The author of the statue is sculptor Gerasim Shahverdyan.
At the solemn opening ceremony were present Albert Azaryan, the Minister of ESCS Vahram Dumanyan, Yerevan Deputy Mayor Gevorg Simonyan, the President of the National Olympic Committee Gagik Tsarukyan, delegates of the National Assembly, representatives of the Municipality and others.
The President of the Gymnastics Federation of Armenia Gagik Vanoyan stressed that it is the least appreciation of Azaryan’s contribution to Armenian sport development and his endless devotion.
Albert Azaryan outlined that he was really impressed and excited.
