“Utest Fest” held in Yerevan
The peculiar Armenian cuisine could be enjoyed during the festival of traditional Armenian cookery which was entitled “Utest Fest”.
The idea was realized by the initiative of Yerevan Municipality jointly with “Development and Preservation of Traditions of Armenian Cookery” NGO. The goal of the event is to present to public the wide assortment of traditional ritual dishes served by Armenians during national and religious holidays and feasts.
Nearly 30 pavilions were installed in Khachkars’ Park in which HoReCa companies, local food producers, colleges presented Armenian religious and traditional feasts, their symbols, customs and dishes.
Armenian souvenirs were presented as well.
The festival was accompanied with national songs and dances. Numerous townspeople and guests of the city took part in the event.
