Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan hosted the Advisor to the Mayor of Naples (Italy) for foreign affairs Francesco Seneze. Greeting the guest, Mayor Avinyan restated the willingness of Yerevan authorities to develop cooperation with Naples and implementation of joint projects in various spheres of urban economy. It was arranged to design a working program which will be followed by signing a cooperation agreement between the two cities. It should be noted that during his working visit to Naples in July, Tigran Avinyan invited Naples’ Mayor Professor Gaetano Manfredi to Yerevan. It is planned to sign the cooperation agreement during his visit.
Expressing gratitude for warm reception the Advisor to the Mayor of Naples for foreign affairs Francesco Seneze marked that popularization of cultural heritage has an important significance in the cooperation between the two cities: the relics of Saint Gregory the Illuminator are preserved in San Gregorio Armeno church in Naples.
