In 2024, 661 trees were planted in place of old and non-viable trees in eight streets of the capital. Arbutus, Albizia, Horse Chestnut: the city authorities have undertaken steps to expand green spaces and rejuvenate the fund. Yerevan sidewalks are now decorated with even more valuable tree species. Soon, Tumanyan Street will be replenished with new Judas trees, and the spherical Catalpa tree species will bring their charm to Amiryan and Melik Adamyan streets. Step by step, with new breath, more functional and efficient, avoiding emergency situations, Yerevan will look refreshed this spring.
