Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the event dedicated to the 55th anniversary of foundation of Yerevan school N124 after Nerses Mets. During the solemn event the pupils of the school presented the school history: development stages, achievements and new programs.
Greeting those present and congratulating them on the event Mayor Taron Margaryan expressed gratitude to the teachers for patriotic upbringing of generations.
“Teachers work is actually a mission which is difficult to express in words. You are responsible for patriotic upbringing of generations. I am sure that the success and achievements of your pupils are the highest appreciation for each of you. I am also sure that our pupils are also grateful to you for your care and devotion. We are also grateful to you for upbringing and education of a worthy generation. Be sure that Yerevan Municipality will go on the programs of renovation of cultural and educational centers so that in a few years all comforts will be provided in each one”, said the Mayor of Yerevan.
On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of foundation, for success in patriotic upbringing of schoolchildren and for significant contribution to the sphere of education the director of the school N 124 after Nerses Mets Naira Martirosyan was awarded with memory medal “Honorary teacher of Yerevan”. A number of employees of the school were awarded with honorary and thanksgiving diplomas.
