More than 40 years after the launch of Yerevan Metro, escalators are being replaced with new ones for the first time. The process has already been completed at several stations. Currently, renovation work is ongoing at "Sasuntsi Davit" station, with upgrades planned soon at "Zoravar Andranik" station as well.
Over the past two years, 6.3 billion drams have been invested in Yerevan Metro to modernize its infrastructure. The primary goal of these improvements that often go unseen is to ensure the safety of both the metro system and its passengers.
