Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the RA Minister of Defence Vigen Sargsyan who are visiting the servicemen serving in the army in the frontier military units, together with the Deputy Commander of the Artsakh Army of Defence Major-General Vardan Balayan visited “Azatamartiks park” (“Park of Warrior Liberators”), familiarized themselves with the process of construction of the recreation zone with the area of 2 hectares. We’d like to note that the construction of the park is being implemented within the frames of cooperation established between the municipalities of Yerevan and Stepanakert.

Presenting the details of the program the persons in charge noted that this park would become a special recreation area for the residents and guests of Stepanakert.
Attaching particular importance to the construction of the park the RA Minister of Defence outlined that the new park would become one of the symbols of effective cooperation established between two Armenian capitals. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan in his turn stressed that such initiatives would be long-term, moreover all the programs outlined within the scope of cooperation program would be continued too.
