A team of Armenian specialists from Los Angeles will support Yerevan in creating a transportation management center and “smart” solutions. Mayor Tigran Avinyan visited the control center and got acquainted with the services provided.
The structure, which operates around the clock, ensures traffic control throughout the city, regulating traffic flows with traffic lights.
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) provides 52 different services to the region: from parking management to increasing security level and issuing permits to private operators.
