The First Deputy Mayor, acting Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Armenia H.E. Mr. Piotr Skwiecinski. Acting Mayor congratulated the Ambassador on taking his diplomatic office in our country and expressed hope in the development of the relationship established with the embassy on the level of the two capital cities.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and willingness to cooperate, the Ambassador of Poland to Armenia marked that he would contribute within his powers to the establishment of cooperation between the capital cities and implementation of practical projects.
In particular, the parties referred to the Memorandum of Intentions signed between Yerevan and Warsaw in 2013 and stressed that the document needs updating which will make it possible to develop more essential relationship in concrete directions.
The conversationalists exchanged thoughts about other issues of mutual interest.
