First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan received the members of Yerevan team of 6th International Olympiad of Metropolises
The First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan received the participants of the 6th International Olympiad of Metropolises, which was held online at the initiative of the Moscow City Hall. The Olympiad of the academic year of 2021-2022 was organized in the subjects "Mathematics", "Physics", "Chemistry" and "Informatics". This academic year, the Yerevan team achieved high results, having won the 2nd team place, the cup in the blitz round, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals in the individual competition.
Welcoming the schoolchildren, Levon Hovhannisyan congratulated them on their results and thanked them for the best representation of Yerevan at the Olympiad.
“I am sure that you will always continue to uphold the honor of Yerevan in the international arena, gaining new achievement. I attach particular importance to the work of the teachers and coaches of the Yerevan team, who are dedicated to their work and educate an exemplary generation”, said Levon Hovhannisyan.
