Yerevan First Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan received General Director of “South Caucasus Railway” company Alexey Melnikov.
During the meeting the communicators exchanged ideas about upcoming programs, challenges of the railway and bilateral cooperation.
Attaching importance to the role of the company in railway network development Armen Pambukhchyan marked that the community is ready to support the company within its powers to implement the initiated projects in the territory of Yerevan.
Expressing gratitude for cooperation willingness, Alexey Melnikov marked that their programs are first of all aimed at ensuring safe and convenient passenger transportation.
 In 2023, more than 538 thousand people made use of the services of suburban and international trains, which is exceeds the rates of 2022 by 7.5%.
