Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Armen Pambukhchyan Meets with UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Armenia Konstantin Sokulski
Yerevan Municipality is implementing several projects in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), covering various areas of urban economy. Discussions on upcoming projects took place during the meeting of Yerevan Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan and UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Armenia Konstantin Sokulski.
As part of their ongoing initiatives, both institutions are taking steps towards introduction of the Energy Management System, improvement of thermal insulation in multi-apartment buildings, installation of photovoltaic systems, and enhancing the energy efficiency reconstruction of public buildings.
Emphasizing the importance of joint energy efficiency projects, Armen Pambukhchyan noted that such initiatives not only create a more comfortable environment but also allow the community to achieve significant savings.
Expressing gratitude for the successful collaboration, Konstantin Sokulski stated that the established trustworthy partnership provides a solid foundation for launching new programs.
The parties also exchanged ideas about future projects and outlined the sequence of necessary steps.
