The issues related to activation and development of investment environment in Yerevan were discussed during the meeting of Yerevan Deputy Mayor Vahe Nikoyan and the CEO of Initiatives for Development of Armenia foundation (IdeA) Edgar Manukyan.
Attaching importance to the possibilities of investment programs implementation in various spheres of urban economy and presenting the activity of Yerevan Municipality in this direction, Vahe Nikoyan outlined that within its powers Yerevan Municipality is ready to show support in the realization of investment programs aimed at the development of the capital.
“Nowadays a favourable investment environment is formed in Yerevan and this factor is certainly important for investors. Packages of investment proposals are also available. Besides, we greet any new proposal”, said Vahe Nikoyan.
Expressing gratitude for the meeting the director of the IdeA foundation Edgar Manukyan in his turn presented the programs implemented by the foundation. Outlining the perspectives of tourism development in Yerevan Edgar Manukyan stressed the importance of creation of corresponding infrastructures and in this context discussed the investment programs to be implemented in the capital.
In particular the investment programs proposals worked out by the foundation and aimed at tourism development were presented. The construction of the new ropeway in Yerevan, reconstruction of “Haghtanak” park and restoration of historical and archaeological reserve-museum “Erebuni” are among them.
During the meeting they made an agreement to discuss possible directions of further cooperation and packages of proposals in more details in near future.
