The delegation of Yerevan Municipality headed by First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan is in the capital of Georgia with an official visit. Today the delegation met Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze. The delegation also involved the leader of “My Step” faction of Yerevan Council of Elders Armen Galjyan, the leader of “Prosperous Armenia” faction Mikael Manrikyan and the head of “Luys” faction David Khazhakyan.

Greeting the members of Yerevan delegation the Mayor of Tbilisi noted that the visit gives another opportunity to outline further plans and to discuss new programs. Mr.Kaladze emphasized the friendly relationship formed between the two cities and offered to hold Tbilisi Days in Yerevan and Yerevan Days in Tbilisi.
Expressing gratitude for the invitation and warm welcome the First Deputy Mayor marked that Yerevan attaches particular importance to cooperation expansion with Tbilisi. Levon Hovhannisyan also noted that holding cultural days in the two capitals will give a new stimulus to friendship and partnership between them.
During the meeting the parties referred to the spheres into which mutually beneficial and effective cooperation can be developed for the benefit of the residents of the two capitals.
