Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan received Alexandra Cole, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Armenia.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest between Yerevan and its British counterparts at the municipal level.
Presenting the city's major development initiatives and urban development projects with high investment potential, Mayor Avinyan noted that Yerevan is open to new ideas, innovative technologies and sustainable investment.
Expressing her gratitude for the warm reception, Ambassador Alexandra Cole stated that she would spare no effort to promote Yerevan’s investment opportunities and help attract British investors.
"Yerevan is an attractive destination for expanding bilateral economic cooperation," the Ambassador said.
During the meeting they also highlighted the importance of exchanging experience in infrastructure development, urban planning, public space renovation and digital transformation.
