The delegation headed by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, which is in  the capital of the Republic of Italy with an official visit, atteded the Traffic Management Center. Operating around the clock, the structure fully coordinates and controls the regular work of the route network.

During the visit to the center, the Yerevan delegation was familiarized with the solutions for traffic management in Rome and the policy for the development of the industry. As the main goal, using certain solutions, it is proposed to significantly reduce the number of cars in Rome, which will ensure mobility.

Mayor Tigran Avinyan noted that Yerevan has also undertaken programs to reform the transport system, which involve systemic solutions. In parallel with the completion of the construction of the public transport fleet station, the process of full implementation of the new ticketing system is coming to an end. Besides, the separation of bus lanes, changes in the traffic organization are underway; the installation of new bus stops and smart traffic lights is under consideration.
