Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan visited the “Park of Life” construction site to review the progress.
About 50 hectares of the Yerevan Botanical Garden will be transformed into the “Park of Life,” dedicated to the memory of the heroes who died in the Artsakh liberation wars. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan and the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, Davit Khudatyan, visited the site to review the ongoing construction work.
The park will feature an artificial pond, renovated cascading stairs, as well as new walkways and a bike path. A new irrigation system and pump station are under construction, which will help maintain not only the “Park of Life”, but also the entire garden. Additionally, the outdoor lighting system will be modernized.
A total of 4.6 billion drams have been allocated from the state budget to bring the “Park of Life” project to life.
