Mayor Hayk Marutyan visited Malatia-Sebastia administrative district and introduced the newly-appointed head of Malatia-Sebastia David Karapetyan to the district staff. Yerevan Mayor outlined the main spheres in which strict measures are to be taken. Referring to waste removal and sanitary cleaning to be carried out by “Sanitek” company Hayk Marutyan considered the work unsatisfactory and stressed that the mechanism of work of the company must be re-considered and the control must be strengthened.
Mayor Hayk Marutyan appreciated the work carried out by the former head of the district Artak Alexanyan and staff and expressed confidence that with the new head they will go on implementation of new programs aimed at sustainable development of the district.
“There is no difference for me between the administrative districts. From the very beginning I announced that Yerevan is not just the center, our approach must be the same. All administrative districts must be developing simultaneously, all the residents of the administrative districts should know that they are at the focus of attention”, stressed the Mayor.
Hayk Marutyan congratulated David Karapetyan on his appointment and wished him fruitful activity.
