Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan meet with Marseille Deputy Mayor Didier Parakyan
Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan met with the Deputy Mayor of Marseille Didier Parakyan who arrived in Yerevan to take part in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2800” celebration. Expressing gratitude for accepting the invitation and participating in the events dedicated to Yerevan Day, Hayk Marutyan highly appreciated the 26-year cooperation established between Yerevan and Marseille and expressed confidence that joining the efforts the two cities will fulfill new projects.
“Yerevan and Marseille have wide perspectives for cooperation in various spheres of urban economy and in the sphere of management. I am sur that in the years to come we will go on implementation of joint programs for the benefit of Yerevan and Marseille”, said Mayor Hayk Marutyan and attached importance to the personal contribution of the Deputy Mayor who is Armenian by nationality to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two cities.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and congratulating Hayk Marutyan on being elected Yerevan Mayor, the Deputy Mayor of Marseille Didier Parakyan in his turn assured that he will go on doing his best to strengthen and develop the ties between the cities. The parties also referred to the process of implementation of the programs provided by Yerevan-Marseille cooperation agreement and to outline future plans.
