Reconstruction of Kond to Be Key Project in Yerevan and Lyon Cooperation: Tigran Avinyan and Gregory Doucet Visit Historical Sight
The project of reconstruction of Kond quarter, signed between “Yerevanproject” company and Lyon Municipality is going to be fulfilled. Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan accompanied Lyon Mayor Gregory Doucet to Kond to get acquainted with the problems of the living quarter which is of high historical value. The parties marked that the friendly relationship existing between the two cities serve a firm ground to fulfil this important project. Soon the Armenian and French specialists will get to work involving the residents of the quarter to the discussions. The goal of the initiative is to preserve the historical peculiarity of the quarter, to combine the new and the traditional in the city environment.
