Yerevan and Rome sign Friendship and Cooperation Agreement
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, who was in the capital of Italy with an official visit, met with his Roman colleague Roberto Gualtieri. Emphasizing the strong economic and cultural ties between the two countries, the parties expressed confidence that the cooperation established between the two capitals also has great prospects for development and expansion.
Introducing Yerevan development plans to Roberto Gualtieri, Tigran Avinyan noted that the reforms launched are based on offering fundamental solutions and ensuring comfortable conditions for residents.
After the official part, the signing ceremony of the Friendship and Cooperation Agreement took place.
Thanks to the signed document, cooperation will be carried out in the fields of urban management, environmental protection, education and culture, as well as a number of other areas.
Once again expressing gratitude for warm welcome and willingness to cooperate, Mayor Tigran Avinyan invited his Roman colleague to Yerevan with a reciprocal visit.
