Since November 1, the Public Order Protection Service has been monitoring the citizens’ payment of fares in the prescribed form. Inspections have shown that problems mainly arise due to the lack of appropriate coins among passengers, validators, and drivers who organize passenger transportation without appropriate payment. It has been instructed to develop legal solutions so that after the full installation of the unified ticket system, it will be possible to apply appropriate administrative measures for travel without relevant payment.

About 180 families live at Vardashen 6th Street, in emergency buildings 66/1 and 68a, which have a 4th degree of emergency. Since the community does not have the appropriate housing stock and financial resources to solve the problem of resettling residents, Yerevan Municipality turned to the government for support, proposing to include the appropriate amount in the state budget. According to preliminary estimates, the amount of 3.2 billion drams is required to cover the resettlement.
