First deputy mayor and deputy mayors have been assigned by the decision of Council of Elders
During the special meeting called on June 16 and chaired by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the Council of Elders of Yerevan, following the parts 3 and 4 of paragraph 48 of the RA law “On local self-governance in the city of Yerevan”, of the registered 62 members of the Council by voting of 45 for, 5 against and 12 abstainers assigned Kamo Areyan the First Deputy Mayor.
According to part 3 of the same law, by 57 votes for and 5 against Vahe Nikoyan was assigned Deputy Mayor.
With the ratio of 45 for,5 against and 11 abstainers David Ohanyan was assigned Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.
With the ratio of 45 for, 5 against and 12 abstainers the Council also confirmed the decision of assigning Aram Sukiasyan Yerevan Deputy Mayor.
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan congratulated the First Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor and wished them fruitful activity.
